Birth story
Well, as all of you know.. mine was an induction birth.
I got admitted on 10th of January midnight, about 1am or so.
Did the admission & was warded after doing the admission.
Checked dilation before inserting the tablet, 1.5cm dilated.
After inserting the tablet, I wasn't allowed to get down the bed.
Strapped on ctg and they started monitoring me for an hour.
After 1hour, baby & I slept all the way till morning.
About 8.30am, the nurse woke me up & was told to go down to labour ward.
Woke baby up & he told me he'll join me later after washing up.
So I was brought to the labour ward first. I was still very sleepy then, haha!
One of the nurse inserted some watery medicine in me & was told to poo after 5mins.
Baby came in & the nurse chased him out, lols!
Went to the toilet after 5minutes & I was brought to the birthing room.
Dr Adelina came & checked my dilation, 3cm dilated.
Broke my waterbag afterthat, warm water was flowing out non-stop.
The feeling was gross to the max, very very disgusting.
She told me she'll be back in lunch hour & baby was allowed to come in.
The nurse ordered breakfast for me but I totally have no appetite at all.
Regular contractions started hitting in, quite bearable still.
The contraction level only hitted till 70 then, and I kept rejecting epidural.
But about 10minutes later when the contractions hit over 100, I nearly died.
Very very painful & the anesthetist came to inject the epidural in me.
Was put on drip first & I swear the needle for the drip was even more painful than the epidural.
Who says when you're having contractions, other pains dont hurt at all.
Rubbish man! I think the needle for the drip hurt more than the contractions.
It was about 9am after the epidural was injected, I was still having pain though.
Could move normally but the pain decreased very very much.
After about an hour plus, it feels as if the epidural went off totally. I was in crazy pain!
Baby called the nurse & the dosage was on the max. But still, it didn't relieve any pain.
Dilation check & I was still 3cm dilated. No choice but to call the anesthetist down again.
She told me she'll be injecting a very concentrated ones for me & should do the job.
Yes, it really relieved all the pain. Totally no feeling at all.
At about 12pm, I was still 3cm dilated & the worse thing is the 1st epidural finished!
I was told there's still another 7hours to go & they got me the 2nd epidural.
I stoned for awhile & asked baby how is it possible the epi finished within 3hrs?
One of the nurse even teased saying my body drinks the epidural :\
Dr Adelina came in at 2pm & checked my dilation.
9.5cm dilated already. Everyone got shocked & finally knew why I was still in pain with epidural.
The dilation went too fast & made the contractions very very bad.
Was told to wait for about an hour before we start to push as baby's still facing up.
Kept having the urge to push whenever the contractions goes up.
But still, I managed to wait for an hour & baby's position went facing down already.
Started pushing at about 3 plus & this naughty girl came out at 3.23pm :)
Her favourite position to sleep. Everytime when we do 3D, she'll be in this position.
Baby happily cut her umbilical cord which I couldn't see at all.
But it's such a bless that baby is there to witness & be part of everything :)
The moment I hear her cries, my tears rolled down uncontrollably.
I dontknow why, perhaps very very happy & touched to see her.
The nurse placed her on my body & I cried even harder.
Baby was very very happy too & kinda shocked to see me crying.
He stroked my head & told me everything's fine.. she's out safely already.
I think without baby & everyone's support, I wouldn't be able to do it.
Really very grateful that baby was with me all the while.
Little riko was being pushed out to take her measurements & weight.
Baby accompanied her as well while gynae was doing my stitches.
Baby came in afterthat looking all excited & told me she's weighing at 3.045kg.
I was so so happy that she's out weighing at 3kg and not lesser.
I've always wanted her to hit 3 because I dontwant her to be too fragile & tiny.
Naughty little girl, blowing bubbles with her saliva all the way.
After the stitches, I was pushed to my ward with little riko in my arms ^^
But we seperated as she have to go clean up first & put in the warmer.

Baby & I totally can't take our eyes off her. She's so adorable!
Everyone including the nurses are saying she looks so much like daddy.
I was so jealous okay! Though I agree she looks alot like baby too.
Even their sleeping positions, the way they make noise & stretch while sleeping is the same.
Totally like being photocopied..
The very happy daddy, couldn't put his arms off her.
He kept talking, playing & carrying her..
It's like he cannot seperate from his precious girl for even a minute.
Keep asking the nurse to wheel her in when she just left for less than an hour.
My very silly baby, loving her daughter so so much.
